Wave running On the Ocean Blue

Wave Running On the Ocean Blue

It was in summer of 2012 ( July 22nd to be exact). My family and I were going on vacation to Mexico, and we were going on this trip because my Brother Jordan will be going off to college soon. My family and I got there by a 2hr flight, which BTW ( by the way) was not, lets just say an “ A Okay “ kind of ride, and we were 40,000ft up in the air over the ocean. We wanted this vacation to be a vacation that we would remember forever.

I have been having a great time with my family in Mexico! We have done a numeral of things already since we’ve been here! It was getting close to the end of our vacation and we were deciding on what kinds of activities that we wanted to do before our last day there. There were many, many, many, many, mannyyy things to choose from. Like, TOO MANY to name. I wanted to go zip-lining, but my Step Dad wasn’t on board with me because we would have to go 6hrs without seeing my Mom and my little Sister. My Sister wouldn’t be able to zip-line because she is too young. So we looked at other activities and did some thinking and finally we all agreed on something. “Wave running!”I thought. “I’ll think about it”, I said. “Ok well make sure that you so because we will be doing that shortly”, replied my Mother.

So, I thought about it for a while. I had some agreement with myself and some disagreements with myself too. But in the end it turned out to be a “yes”. I told my parents and in a jiffy they were ready to go. As we were heading to the beach I started getting butterflies in my stomach, but I just brushed them away like they weren’t there.

As I walked down the beach to where the wave running station was I was excited, but whenever it got to the point to where everyone was staring at me waiting for me to make my last, and final decision I got nervous again. My answer, was a yes and I was ready to go! I hopped onto the wave runner and off we went. Crashing and splashing on the waves. I could taste the ocean water because it would pop up right into my mouth. It was GROSS! My driver said some things that I couldn’t understand what he was saying I just nodded and said “yes”. We drove past other hotels and people. It was beautiful and very much an adrenaline rush! Soon my trip of wave running was over, sadly, but I knew it would have to end sooner or later. We drove back to shore and I was thinking “WOAH!! I DROVE OVER SHARKS!? AHHH!!!” But, it was pretty fun and dangerous! So I thought “WOW!” “Nothing is as fun as playing with danger!” Once my feet were back on the white, snowy sand I was shaky, but full of excitement. I headed to the pool to meet my Mom, my Sister, and my Brother. As soon as I found them I told them “I would DEFINITELY do this again!” My Mom replied with a “GREAT!” I told her how I was nervous at first but once I saw how beautiful the view was and how gorgeous everything was, I just thought for a moment and it turned out to be not bad. I could have talked for hours about my trip, but unfortunately my Mom would get annoyed and eventually would tone me out, so I just told her that and went to go eat at one of the buffet restaurants. And went on with the rest of my magical family adventure.
